Our little screens

We read our Better Homes and Gardens, and text people thousands of miles away while ignoring our children.
We work for corporations who treat us as numbers, slowly depleting our souls...
We put up our Christmas trees year after year... Spending money we don't have on unappreciative people who will forget you when you leave...
We ignore the horrors of the world as we post cat pics on Facebook... Everyone glued to their little screens like dirty, shaking addicts...
So what does it all mean? Are we so distracted that we don't care anymore? Perhaps that's the whole point...
