The heavy, beautiful snow made a soft decent on my house in a quite, peaceful way. It caused some mild inconvenience, but added great joy to my day. As I was playing with the kids, throwing snow balls; I heard that incessant drip. The realization that she would soon melt, taking with her, these rare childhood games. When I awoke, there were only scarce white traces of where she stood. Our little snowman looked like a Dali sculpture. Mud had replaced the deep, packed snow, and things seemed to revert back to normal once more. She left as quickly as she arrived. Perhaps I will see her again.
