You know what gripes me?

Now it seems, that if you attend an organized protest about unfair taxation, state rights, or ANYTHING that goes against the FEDERAL Government's policies, you are automatically considered a potential terrorist, or militia threat per the "Patriot Act". Since when is the right to hold peaceful protests a treasonous act? If there were massive anti-war, George W. Bush protests (which there were) in every major city at once, the mainstream media would have hailed us all as"heroes"; exercising our right to "freedom of speech". Heaven-forbid some of the common-sense people of America protest an obvious socialist and economic takeover by the current administration. CNN: "These people are obviously lunatics, racists, and extremists!" This entire stimulus package, along with the hostile takeovers of our financial institutions, coupled with the government involvement in "saving" automobile manufacturers, seems like an obvious rape of our 10th Amendment rights. Call me crazy, but I think protests are only perceived as "positive", if they are quite, innocuous, and basically meaningless.
