Chances Are...

 

Woke up in a alternate universe. 

People walking around in masks like they don't have immune systems. 

They worry over an innocuous virus that isn't dangerous to most people.

It's so strange how the screen spouts 24/7 fear and they gladly consume it 

like brainwashed sheep.

Then they offer the cure although our immune systems still can't chance going 

out into the world mask less. 

So is this the cure or in two years will these same people develop something much worse?

Are we so ruled by our fear of a harmless virus that we live as if it's a plague?

It only kills the weak and old yet we make our immune children suffocate for their protection. 

None of this makes sense. None of it. 

Turn off the fear screen and take your chances out in the world. 

Chances are, you will survive...
