Yard Sale

I load all my unwanted things into the truck...

Hopefully, but doubtfully, I may make a few bucks...

I watch the old ladies rummage through my stuff...

"Will you take fifty cents? Is that enough?"

The sun beats down in my chaotic yard,

as I watch them buy all the things that I discard...

It's hard to conceive all the crap we acquire...

Oh, there's that coffee maker that I rewired...

And as the sale winds down, and I'm still left with a mess...

I'd say all in all, it was a smashing success!
