I sat on the stone fence; the warm sun on my back…I was totally immersed in the abyss of my thoughts. I was pondering the true definition of happiness. I faced endless choices, but really had none. What to do with this little life of mine… That was the question. Do I neglect my responsibilities and run away, or will it even matter if I did? I have to draw on the conclusion that no matter what I do, there is nothing out there that will really fill this void...Happiness is a state of mind. It is intangible, therefore there is no real evidence that it even exists. It's that vapor in the air that quickly dissipates. It's that momentary feeling of silence that is always disturbed by a sudden noise. And it remains the most elusive thing on the planet...
