I walk that fine line between what is real and what is merely a figment of my wild imagination. I'm always taking things the wrong way; twisting them into something cynical and dark. Strangers walk past me, and I have them all figured out. I am a keen observer of people. Sometimes in my arrogance, I realize that people can truly be enigmas. They are not always what they seem. Some people walk past, and I immediately size them up to be something completely different than who they really are. We shouldn't judge people without a clear understanding of what or who they are. Sometimes a person's appearance can be like an open book to their upbringing and background. Other times the most proper looking person may have underlying darkness lurking just beneath the surface... To avoid the old cliche about a book's cover is difficult to do, but the meaning is still relevant...
