According to an email I received yesterday from a person close to the military, he is in profound disagreement with me concerning John McCain. John McCain was a POW in Vietnam for 5 years, suffering horrible torture. He knows first hand how terrible war is, and doesn't want our troops to suffer such atrocities. My friend thinks Obama will return our troops, and save the world. Obama is a Russia sympathizer that will negotiate with terrorists, and appease our enemies. His plan to raise taxes and increase the size of the federal government is alarming. The military is all volunteer, which means they signed up to potentially be put in harm's way. I respect and thank our military for their selfless service to our country. These are dangerous times. Iran is in the midst of obtaining nuclear capabilities. Russia is becoming more of a threat, as they have shown in the recent attacks on Georgia, and seem to be intent on rebuilding the Soviet Union. We cannot roll over and surrender to enemies who threaten our country. America is not France. I disagree with McCain on various issues. This is not a popular war, but we are making process, and we are winning. I hope for peace, but we should be prepared for the worse. Democrats want to cut funding for our military, putting them at more risk. They want us to withdraw troops, and get out of the region. I agree with bringing our people home. But only after the threats to Americans and our interests are stable. Both parties need serious scrutiny and consideration this year. The size of the federal government will grow no matter what party is in power. Perhaps with Republicans, it won't grow quite as fast, but it will inevitably grow. So, vote for the one that you feel is the right leader for this great country. Research the difference. Vote from your local level, up. The only true way to change things is to elect people that will speak for you, and implement actual change.

Obama is too young. Not enough wisdom to do the job. He still has the tendancy to say really stupid things, as should be expected from someone his age. I may be a little slow for your average 38 year old, but I know the difference between someone with some good sense and someone who is going to get our us killed.
The Democrats should have picked Hillary, they do not have a chance with Obama or is it Osama. I always have trouble spelling that.
